Comic Books to Watch

I want you to watch the following back issues for the next few months. Remember you can see live auctions at the subscriber section of the webpage.

First on the list is X-men 3. The movie is slated for release on May 26. The big issues here are X-men 101, Amazing Adventures 11, X-men 12 and of course the "blue chips" of the series: X-men 1, X-men 94 and Giant Size X-men 1. I'm keeping a close eye on Astonishing X-men #1 also, but we won't know how this runs until the movie gets close or is released.

Next up is V for Vendetta 1. This movie is getting close and movement has been great on E-bay. If you can find the issue for cheap, or you have a hoard, start preparing to sell. I'm looking to sell just before and following the movie release using strategies found in the Comic Book Movie Connection Special Report.

You've heard my feeling about Superman Returns in the past, so I won't go into it in this issue. These books are just soooo expensive.

Finally, let's talk about Spider-man 3. I'm a little concerned about the franchise with the amount of characters being brought in. I hope the storyline doesn't get too complicated and end the run, similar to Batman. In any event, Amazing Spider-man 300, Amazing Spider-man 1, and Amazing Fantasy 15 are sure to bounce in price. The latest addition is Gwen Stacy, so let's start picking up Amazing Spider-man 31 (1st appearance) and for later use Amazing Spider-man 121 (last appearance).
