Next Up; Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

It's the eve of the release of Spider-man 3, but it's already well into the timeline for the next comic book movie of interest: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

If you've seen the trailer, you have to be excited to see the Silver Surfer on the big screen, and can only imagine what they will do with Galactus. Of course, Doctor Doom is returning once again.

Here are the books we've been watching for Fantastic Four:

Fantastic Four #48 – 1st appearance of Silver Surfer and Galactus is in the last panel of this book. Already a Silver Age “blue chip” comic, making increases with the appearances in the movie.

Silver Surfer #1 (Silver Age) – The 1st series. Could see an increase since it has the name and is more affordable.

Fantastic Four #1 – the movie will only cement the team deeper into “blue chip” comic territory.

Obviously Fantastic Four #48 is huge for this movie. It is the beginning of two main characters for the film. We’re already seeing moves so get ready to sell if you have this book.
