The entire Comic Book Secrets site is designed with the renegade collector in mind. Now we aren't looking to break laws, but we are dedicated to shedding the conventional behavior of comic book collectors and dealers and make the most of our collecting.

The Internet Opens a Whole New World

Over the last decade the comic book industry for collectors, dealers, and collector/investors has been turned upside down. It has been a technology of liberation for some, doom for others who didn't change with the times.

I've heard "old school" dealers whine about how low their books (previously overpriced and sitting in boxes for years) aren't "worth" as much and are selling online for too low a price.

• Renegades are Informed. They use all available media - offline but especially online to research trends, get news, and find the true value of their collectibles. Knowledge is power, and Renegades have it.
• Renegades have Fun Collecting - The "old school" crooks, I mean dealers, told you to only collect what you like. Translation - only collect what we tell you to like. They told you don't invest or make money, just buy books from us at inflated prices, and then sell them back to us at pennies on the dollar. Renegades reject that and say we can have fun collecting and profit from our books at the same time!
• Renegades Know How to Make a Perpetual Collection. - Through smart buying and selling, you can actually make your collection self-sustaining. Renegades know this and take advantage of it with a definite strategy.
