There is speculation that the Detective Comics #27 CGC 9.2 that just appeared in the CGC census may be a copy graded early in the company’s history and recently resubmitted. Below is a picture of the previous copy and I’ll be looking (along with thousands of others) to see if this is indeed true. We won’t know until the owner speaks or until we see a scan.
