The E-bay auction of the highest graded Action Comics #1 is now live. At the end of the first day the bidding has already hit $1.6 million.

Highest Grade Action Comics #1 Now on E-bay
The highest graded copy of Action Comics #1, a CGC 9.0 with white pages, goes up for Auction on August 14 on E-bay. The first appearance of Superman is considered by many to be the “grail” comic book for collectors.

The only other CGC 9.0 had cream to off-white pages and sold for $2,161,000 in 2011 by ComicConnect.com.
