Selling Your Comic Books – Your Own Website
Are you serious about selling comic books?
Do you have a large collection you want to “trim down to size?”
Would you like to fund your comic book hobby by rotating your collection?
If so, you may want to look at starting your very own comic book selling website. I’ve been buying and selling online for years and I set up an example comic book selling site to share with you. It is full of ideas you can use. One of the best parts of having your own comic book selling website is you are in control!
Don’t be intimidated by the idea, it’s actually pretty easy. You can be up and running in an afternoon. Here are a few steps to get yourself started:
– Register a domain (you can use a site like inexpensivedomains.com, godaddy or any of the many site around)
– Set up hosting (I use Hostgator)
– Set up a content management system (I prefer to use WordPress – it’s free and well supported. If you want to learn step by step how to set it up you can find details here.)
– Start posting!
It’s that easy.
One more tip. If you don’t want to set up a merchant account, just use E-bay and Paypal. That’s what I do!
Good luck!
