The website htmlcomics.com, discussed in an earlier post, has been shutdown by the FBI. You can read the press release here.

The site was a depository of thousands of comics which the owner claimed were allowed to be uploaded and read like a “library” even though many questioned how this was true. Well, for now we know the answer – the publishers think differently.
